Passion 4 K.I.D.S. Children's Charity honors Jacob Wallis, the 22-year-old father of baby Izaiah, who was hit by a teen drunk driver while being wheeled in his stroller on the sidewalk by his grandfather on the way to the park. Izaiah remains paralyzed from the waist down, on a feeding tube, colostomy, tracheotomy and ventilator. Jacob has left his job to be his son's full-time caregiver, learning all the intricate medical equipment keeping his son alive. Never complaining, Jacob represents a rare breed of young men who sacrifice their own careers to care for their children, particularly a handicapped child requiring 24/7 care.

Passion 4 K.I.D.S. children's charity is launching a major national campaign asking 25,000 people to donate a minimum of just $10 to allow the charity to purchase a small specially equipped home for baby Izaiah, paralyzed from the neck down and on a ventilator after being run down by a teen driving drunk while being pushed in his stroller by his grandpa on the way to the park. The rental home the young family is currently in is termite infested but cannot be fumigated due to baby Izaiah's immune system, has lead paint and asbestos issues and does not accommodate his wheelchair or therapy equipment. The home is not a luxury but a necessity for the baby's health, according to Dr. Dennis Maness, Izaiah's healthcare coordinator. Baby Izaiah Wallis was being wheeled in his stroller on the sidewalk by his grandpa on the way to the park 9:00 am on a Monday when they were violently struck by a teen drunk and high driver. Izaiah underwent 6 surgeries and spent 7 months in the hospital. He remains paralyzed from the chest down with severe brain damage, partially blind, breathing on a ventilator and tracheotomy with a feeding tube and colostomy. He was released home to be cared for by his 21 year old parents who have no medical background. Their rental property is termite infested, has lead paint and cannot accommodate his wheelchair.
